E-Homework

I have been concerned about the fall off in homework by the class and also the need to make it less generic in nature. After some thought and discussion with the parents of my class, they were very agreeable for homework to be digital -e-homework in other words.
I revamped my wiki and am using this c.f. the blog I had been using. The blog still is used for notices etc.
I scoured the www. and found some useful sites to give consolidation and challenges in literacy and numeracy. The downside is that apart from StudyLadder I have now way of knowing how much time the class is spending on line.
From the data on StudyLadder, I can see all but 1 pupil, have accessed and completed some of the tasks. I have been able to grade the tasks to a degree and have found the maths options very good.
Children accessed their activities over the holidays and have continued to work through the tasks, which is very pleasing. I have changed activities this week and will do so for most activities on a weekly basis. It is interesting that there does not seem to be any gender differences in completing work.
By week four, I will have surveyed parents and the class and see what they think through Survey Monkey.
