Digital Doings and Other Diversions!

Have had a great week. The class has produced some amazing work in the automaton unit. I have found that the inquiry has encompassed an amazing array of interests and activities. These directions have included designing logos -Google doodles, explanations, -written and videos, of their work, interviewing a Junior class regarding what qualities they like in mechanical toys.
Further directions may be advertising and play writing with their toys in starring roles.

Last night the first set of conferences were held. What positive, appreciative feedback re the pupil's achievement and engagement! I asked parents for their opinion about digital homework I had been setting. The response was 100% in favour -the spelling and maths facts still being set in class though.
My wiki is really working well and the app has been downloaded onto android phones and tablets by quite a few of the parents!
I have created a WebQuest to start off my top reading group. I hope all works well! I think the digital support I am offering is really appreciated. It has been a busy but enjoyable term. Looking forward to the Joy Allcock PD -great expectations!
